Visa questions:

Do I need to have a visa to come to Ukraine ?

Yes and No, all foreign incoming travelers will need to have a visa stamp in their passports before arrival to Ukraine . Since 2002 citizen of US and some European countries do not need to have a letter of Invitation for the business and private trip. The letter of invitation is required if a person traveling as a tourist. Since 2005 the US, Canada, Switzerland and Japan citizens do not required to have a visa to enter Ukraine if the period of their stay does not exceed 90 days.
Can your company provide an invitation letter to obtain the Ukrainian tourist visa?

Yes, we can. We are able to provide tourist visa invitation letters for our customers withing 24 hours. We are licensed travel company in Ukraine and we are registered with State Travel Commette. In order to proceed with your invitation letter we will need:

Your full name, citizenship, date and place of birth, postal address, home phone number;
Your passport data (number, date of issuing, issuing authority);
Dates the visa must be issued for.

Other companies offering the same service, why do I use your services?
The tourist invitation letter has to consist of reference number from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This numbers guaranties that your invitation is registered and that you WILL obtain a visa. As well as our reputation among Embassies will help you to get the VISA.

Can your company provide with an accommodation voucher?
Yes, we can. After the final reservation upon your request we will send an accommodation voucher to the fax number you will provide to us. This is at no cost to you.

 

Apartment booking:

How can I book the apartment?
Please fill up a form on our site and send it to us (Oxana@KievApartment.com). We will reply to your request within 8 hours and will confirm your reservation. In case the apartment you have chosen is not available we will offer you other options. Please note we reply to ALL requests. In case you had not gotten a reply  within 8 hours please email to Office@KievApartment.com

Do you require a prepayment?
Yes, we do require down payment. The prepayment can be done by credit card, wire, check, google check out, paypal or western union.

Payments
We offer several options for the payments
1) cash
2) credit card – all charges are made in Ukrainian currency at the following rates
VISA- US dollar = amount + 3.75% ( bank fee) x current commercial dollar rate;  Euro = amount + 3.75% ( bank fee) x current commercial Euro rate
AMEX – US dollar  = amount + 5% ( bank fee) x current commercial dollar rate; Euro  = amount + 5% ( bank fee) x current commercial Euro rate
3) Pay Pal and Google check out
4) Wire transfer to our bank accounts
5) Check  – only available in US with prior booking.

Can I pay for my services prior to my arrival by credit card ( or other means of payments) or do I need to carry cash?
Yes, you can pay for the services you have chosen by credit card  ( or other means of payments) prior to your arrival. There is no need to carry cash to pay for our services (transfer, car rental, apartments, air or train tickets, tours guide, visa services etc.)

What if I pay for all services and will not come?
We will keep the cancellation fee out of the charge and will refund the rest.

What is the cancellation fee and policy?
For stays of 1-5 nights:.
Cancellations made between 1 and 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to one night’s stay.

Cancellations made on the day of arrival or non show will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the total cost of the non refundable prepayment and other reserved services (transfer, guided tours etc).

For stays of 5-7 nights:
Cancellations made between 1 and 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to two nights cost of the stay.

Cancellations made on the day of arrival or non show will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the total cost of the non refundable prepayment ( 2 nights) and other reserved services (transfer, guided tours etc).

For stays of over 7 nights:

Cancellations made between 1 and 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to three nights’ stay.

Cancellations made on the day of arrival or non show will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the total cost of the non refundable prepayment (3 nights) and other reserved services (transfer, guided tours etc).

For stays of 1 month and over:
Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to seven nights’ stay.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to 30% of the non refundable prepayment of the stay.

Stays during Christmas, New Year and Easter will be subject to a special cancellation policy:
Notification of cancellation must be received 14 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation charge equal to the total cost of the stay.

What is check out time at your apartments?
Standard time is
Check in 1 pm
Check out 12 pm

In case if we have possibility we always permit free early check-ins and late check-outs. If you would like to secure early check-in or late check-out in advance it is necessary to pay for one additional night of stay.

Please note

If the check in or check out later then 8 pm a transfer is a must ( our staff driver will check you in and the manager will come the next day to settle up the payments and to sing the documents)

If the check out or check in is earlier then 8 am a transfer is a must ( our staff driver will check you in and the manager will come a bit later the same day to settle up the payments and to sign the documents)

If you are not using our transfer please state exact time of the arrival to the apartment; our manager will be waiting for you at the appointed time in the apartment.

Who owns apartments?
In most of the case printed on the web we are the owners of the apartments, manage subrent as well as partnering with other companies owners.

How apartments are equipped?
All apartment are fully equipped – satellite or cable TV with foreign channels, VCR, CD, refrigerator, fully equipped kitchen, iron, iron board, washer machine, vacuum cleaner, air conditioners, UHF-ovens and coffee-makers, clean bed linen, few sets of towels, toilet paper, soap, junk envelopes etc.

Does daily cleaning of the apartment included into the price ?
Yes, cleaning is free and does not affect the price.

Do you have on site staff?

Yes, we do have on site staff. Please call our office for any questions.

Do apartments have telephone line?
Yes, each apartment has a telephone line.

Do you charge for using the phone?
Local calls are free of charge.

Can I place my phone bill on my card too?
Yes, that would be no problem.

Can I pay over PayPal account?

Yes, that would be no problem.

Can I use internet access at the apartment?
We now providing FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET.
Some apartments have WIFI.  – - FREE WIFI.

Are your apartments secure and safe?
All our apartments are located right in the very center of Kiev -  which is safe and socially secure area. Buildings have either – concierge or security door code, apartments have double doors, some have alarm system.

What is near the apartments you are offering? Are there any entertainments and shops?
All our apartments are located right in the very center of Kiev and you are automatically placed in the center of shops and restaurants and places of interest.It is all about the Location, Location, Location – we have it.

What if I will need an interpreter to accompany me in Kiev? Can you help ?
Yes, please state the exact dates and terms and we will have our staff interpreter serve you.

 

Can you assist in touring and driving around ( night or day)

Yes, we do provide tour packages, highlights sightseeing and English speaking drivers.
